Music Camp Scholarship Auditions
Auditions for music camp scholarships are held each year at the Moraine Musicians Festival.
Two scholarship awards of up to $500, not to exceed the camp registration fee, will be awarded to two recipients for camp registration.
Applicants must have performed in the current year's Moraine Musicians Festival.

Applicant Requirements -
Grades 6-8
Students will be asked to play the following:
MINOR SCALES: a-e-d-g (form is student's choice)
Pianists are asked to play 2 octaves, hands together;
Strings are asked to play one octave, first position.
Students will be asked to play the following:
- Scales -
- Judge's choice from the following:
MINOR SCALES: a-e-d-g (form is student's choice)
Pianists are asked to play 2 octaves, hands together;
Strings are asked to play one octave, first position.
- Two contrasting pieces from different style periods; memorized; 8-minute maximum time limit/cuts allowed
- Sight-read Level 2 literature(music will be provided)
Grades 9-12
Students will be asked to play the following:
ALL MAJOR SCALES
MINOR SCALES: a-e-b-d-g-c the minor scale form is the student's choice
Students will be asked to play the following:
- Scales of 2 octaves (pianists hands together);
ALL MAJOR SCALES
MINOR SCALES: a-e-b-d-g-c the minor scale form is the student's choice
- Two Contrasting pieces from different style periods; memorized; 10-minute maximum time limit/cuts allowed
- Sight-read Level 3 literature (music will be provided)
